Plzeňská Restaurant

The Plzeňská Restaurant is located in the basement of the Municipal House and has a capacity of 350 seats. It´s a place where traditional Czech cuisine mingles with a unique interior from the early twenties. The atmosphere of the space is inducing the typical interior, which was decorated by the best Czech painters and artists at that time.

Žofín Palace – Large Hall

Žofín Palace is a Neo-Renaissance building perched on Slavic Island. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The palace is an important venue for past and contemporary cultural and social life in Prague. The palace was built in classicist style between 1836–1837 and was named in honour of Archduchess Sophie. In 1884, the island and the palace were purchased by the City of Prague and rebuilt into the nowadays Neo-Renaissance style. Before the Municipal House was erected, Žofín Palace was a centre of cultural and social events. Nowadays the concerts, events, receptions and conferences are held there. The historical grace of the Large Hall will amaze the most exacting visitors at the receptions, balls, concerts, congresses or exhibitions.

Prague Congress Centre – foyer of the 2nd floor

The Prague Congress Centre is one of the most dominant points in the city. It is located on one of Prague’s many hills, which provides visitors with a beautiful view of the world famous Prague panorama where the silhouette of the Prague Castle, together with a myriad of towers belonging to churches, cathedrals, palaces and historical buildings from the centre, rise above the Vltava River and extensive parks.

Francouzská Restaurant

Francouzská (French) restaurant Art Nouveau in the Municipal House is one of the best restaurants in Prague. It was awarded by the prestigious guide Gault & Millau for the second time this year. Francouzská restaurant has got 2 cook’s caps, it means that one of the most influential guides in the world got to the restaurant 15 points from 20 possible. In this stunning interior dominates huge windows with the unique handling from the beginning of the twenties, original furniture, upholstered seats and silverware. Another thing that is not omissible is the impressive ceiling are decorations with stucco geometric ornaments and paintings from Czech famous sculptors and painters as František Kraumann and Alfons Mucha.
